早餐才在Three Blue Ducks 吃得開心又滿足, 到了下午一點多又嘴饞想到Newtown去找找我大學時代最最最~喜歡的cafe - Cafe Cinque. 它的cheesecake還有egg benedicts令我多年以來念念不忘. 可惜, 它竟然不在了! Oh no!!!! 好傷心啊! 我頓時沒有胃口, 不過同行的大碗公, 飯Q及麵帥還是要吃啊, 索性走進Mad Pizza e Bar, 強顏歡笑的我後來發現, 味道真不賴耶. 不得不說, 多元文化的澳洲雪梨, 真的是美食天堂. 來自各國的料理都道地又美味! We ended up in Newton looking for my long time favourite cafe serving great cheesecakes and egg benedicts - Cafe Cinque after our wonderful latte and breakfast at Three Blue Ducks earlier that morning. I was so disappointed when I realised that Cafe Cinque has closed down for business! We ended up at Mad Pizza e Bar also along King Street. Pepperoni Pizza - Sliced pepperoni, roma tomatoes, black olives and basil leaves with anchovies. The pizza crust was very crunchy. Lightly spicy pepperoni together with anchoives and olives was so appertising.   

義大利辣味香腸配上鹹鹹香香的anchovies小魚, 又辣又鹹好過癮. 配上冰涼的啤酒, 大碗公很開心ㄋ.

Rocket salad on the side with drizzles of olive oils and lemon zest was very fresh and aromatic. 

Spaghetti e Polette 肉丸子與義大利麵 - 軟嫩的肉丸子, 番茄味與紅椒味十足的醬汁配上煮的剛剛好的義大利麵, 真好吃! Spaghetti with rich tomato sauce, chunky and tender meatballs and dried tomatoes. Strong red capsicum taste can be found in this dish. The serving portion was generous and most importantly - it was very tasty!

大碗公點的啤酒, 麥香濃郁, 在炎熱的夏天喝, 透心涼ㄡ. 連不愛喝酒的我都喝了好多口.

它的menu封面挺有趣的歐. 天天吃義大利麵, 就會像她的身材一樣好嗎? 而且她把義大利的總理放進鍋子ㄟ. Interesting menu cover

義大利麵與pizza均是澳幣12元, 啤酒8元, 一共是澳幣32元(約台幣960元), 味美價不高, 不過到了晚餐, 價錢就不一樣瞜! 每道菜均變成澳幣19元上下. 在Newton 的 King Street上還有許多的餐廳. 尤其以泰國菜聞名. 敬請期待之後的文章. Newtown 位於雪梨大學的旁邊, 有公車以及火車可達, 十分方便. King Street in Newton has lots of restaurants especially Thai. It is right next to University of Sydney with easy access by bus or train. The bill was AUD32 thanks to its lunchtime menu. Spaghetti and pizza were AUD12 each whilst the beer was AUD8. Pretty reasonable for high standard of Italian food. Though the price differ at dinner service as each dish increases to AUD19 in average.
