期盼已久的蘭城晶英 櫻桃鴨好不容易吃到摟! 用餐當天是週日中午, 雖一個月前就訂位, 但是只訂得到一點鐘的桌子. 當服務生帶領我們進入紅樓餐廳旁邊的宴會廳, 我有點傻眼, 原來提供辦喜宴的宴會廳(約莫可放50桌)都被櫻桃鴨取代了. 事不宜遲, 馬上點了六人套餐, 趕快上桌吧! Long waited cherry duck in Silks Place Hotel Yilan has been on our list for months. We were sitted in the banquet hall on a Sunday lunch 1 pm reservation. Set meal for 6 was ordered for 3 families (6 adults with 4 hungry boys all under 6 years old). The portion was generous though it was not as good as I thought given it was rated as 'best duck in Taiwan'!

櫻桃鴨握壽司 - cheese也包在裡面, 太鹹了. Cherry Duck Nigirl - duck slices wrapped with cheese and rice. The cheese was too salty that overtaken the aroma of duck.

三星蔥餅皮包鴨肉 餅皮過厚, 冷了之後餅皮變得很硬, 不是我所期待的 The wrap was quite thick which turned very hard once cold.

還是直接吃櫻桃鴨最好吃. 鴨肉嫩嫩的, 不乾不柴. Cherry Duck by itself was tasty. Those add-ons (see above) were not as good as by its own.

三星蔥炒鴨架子 - 海鮮醬放的太多, 非常鹹! Stir Fried Duck with Bones - it was too salty that we left majority of the dish behind.

鴨肉湯 - 香濃好喝 Duck soup

鴨油拌水蓮菜 - 我不是個油蔥愛好者, 看看那發亮的油蔥, 我也只有望油蔥而興嘆啊. White Water Snowflake with Duck Oil. I love the greens yet I am not a fan of duck oil and fried shallot.

豆腐煲 - 算是最不優的一道菜. 只能說勾芡的醬汁可以下飯罷了. A very norm tofu dish.

甜點 - 八寶芋泥, 太多的材料混搭在一起, 不冷又不熱的口感吃起來真的很不舒服誒. Dessert - sweet gluten rice with taro paste and 8 preserved sweets. I would not recommend this dish as too many flavours combine in one. 

蘭城晶英的櫻桃鴨雖在水準之上, 大量生產後的水準差強人意, 但不值得週末跟著人潮車潮在雪山隧道塞車往來台北. 要吃烤鴨, 龍都is still the best. Though Silks Place Hotel's duck is tasty. Traffic jam coming back and froth between Taipei and Yilan would not be ideal on weekends. If you heart ducks, 龍都 on Nanjing East Road is the best.
