齊民民生市集位於民生東路四段, 接近敦化北路. 初次經過不曉得它賣得是什麼料, 直到有一天特意進去看看, 才知曉它是間專賣產地自銷, 無添加物的小火鍋店.  齊民民生市集是永豐餘企業所發展的另一品牌. 店內除了賣小火鍋, 還有些有機的根莖類蔬菜可買回家自理. 小火鍋吧臺前有準備好一筒筒的蔬菜筒. 不過這些是單點的. 商業午餐的蔬菜已經先放入鍋中才送到食客面前. Qi Min Market specialise in organic hot pot located near the corner of MinShen E Road, Sec 4 and Dung Hua N Road. They also have a corner of organic root vegetables for you to pick.

 點菜完畢之後, 服務生會送上佐料自行搭配 Once ordered, you can mix and match your own dipping sauce.

我們當日點了商業午餐. 份量比單點的少了許多, 不過還是吃的很飽. 釜山醄婆婆韓式泡菜鍋 $198 - 泡菜夠酸但是不夠辣. 我覺得跟台式的泡菜更為接近. We ordered business lunch on the day of our visit. The portion is smaller compare to individually ordered. However, it was still quite filling after the meal. Kimchi Hotpot - the kimchi was sour yet not spicy enough. It's more like a Taiwanese flavoured kimchi, not Korean.

御鼎香脆皮烤鴨在台北算是小有名氣. 愛吃烤鴨的我們決定去試試, 和其它的脆皮烤鴨較量一番. 御鼎香烤鴨, 鴨肉柔嫩飽滿多汁, 脆皮的部分口感爽脆, 沒有多餘的脂肪殘留, 很美味. 可惜御鼎香其他的菜餚只屬一般, 還需要加強. 烤鴨二吃$990, 也可加選三或四吃(各加價$200). 我門這回選了銀芽炒鴨肉絲與酸白菜鴨骨湯. This Taiwanese style Peking duck restaurant holds its fame for several years. I highly recommend their duck as the meat tasted tender and juicy. Duck skin was crispy and aromatic. $990 will get you 2 dishes, or you can top it up to 3 or 4 duck dishes by paying $200 extra each. We ordered stir fried bean sprouts with duck slices and sour cabbage with duck soup to complete our 3 duck dishes.

大家或許買過英國名廚Jamie Oliver的食譜, 或在TLC看過他的烹飪節目, Jamie Oliver今年夏天在新加坡的VivoCity開了亞洲第一間Jamie Italian, 大家去新加坡玩可順道去嘗鮮一番. 這回分享位於英國伯明罕(Birmingham)的Jamie's Italian. Jamie's Italian的pasta都是現場製作的, 麵條有嚼勁, 好吃! 我個人偏好較粗的pasta, 吸入pasta sauce, 吃得比較過癮. Entree點了Crispy Squid GBP5.75, 裹了薄薄的batter, 入鍋油炸, 外酥內嫩, 再沾上蒜味美乃滋與辣椒粉, 很好吃歐! 不過跟二年前初訪相比, 份量少了許多. 這張照片可不是我們吃了一半才照的歐! Fried squid with garlicky mayo, lemon and chilli - crispy on the outside with fresh and tender squid inside. I order this dish on my every single visit.

Prawn Linguine GBP12.75 - 蒜味蝦與微微辣的蕃茄醬汁很對味. 上面的rocket中和了油膩感, 夏天吃更為清爽. Fried garlicky prawns, shaved fennel, tomatoes, chilli & rocket - a great dish for summer days!

位於文湖線上, 捷運麟光站的和記燒餅沒有華麗的裝潢, 堅持的是手工的美味. 主打的厚燒餅, 甜以及鹹的酥餅都帶有濃濃的炭香, 餅上滿滿的白芝麻, 香味直撲腦門. 和記燒餅厲害的是它的傳統好味道. 老闆不疾不徐的用炭烤着一個個的手工燒餅/酥餅, 若烤焦了, 他眉頭皺也不皺就把它淘汰. 老闆的堅持, 造就了絡繹不絕的死忠食客. 值得一提的是它的豆漿, 自家煮的豆漿已經很少見了, 在和記還可以喝到淡淡的黃豆焦香味, 十分值得嘉許. This traditional Chinese bakery is literally next to Linguang MRT station. No fency deco, just old fashioned yet tasty traditional Chinese pastries that has won many people's hearts. It may not be as famous as Fu Hang but this place has won my vote. I also recommend its homemade soy milk. 鎮店之寶 - 厚燒餅 $20 Thick Savory Chinese Pastry

同樣是美食聚集地的金華街, 就在永康街附近. 這回跟年輕表姐在鑫華茶餐廳吃完午餐後, 走到對街的和茗瞧瞧, 難得排隊的人潮比較少, 即到和茗吃甜點. 我非常喜歡它微微苦的綠茶味以及香氣. 搭配的紅豆餡不會過甜. 抹茶千層蛋糕有薄薄的鮮奶油層層相疊, 非常美味. Myowa is located near Yong Kang Street where you can locate lots of nice eateries. Myowa offers Japanese green tea themed dessert with wide selection of drink menu. Myowa's green tea desserts are strong in green tea's bitterness with a touch of sweetness. It serves high quality green tea sundae that I can hardly find in Taipei. If you are a big fan of Japanese green tea, you got to give it a try. Also recommend Myowa's green tea crepes. Thinly layered of green tea sponge with light cream was surprising smooth and light.

位於巴黎第七區, 靠近Eiffel Tower的Cafe Constant提供早, 午和晚餐. 它在Trip Advisor得到2012年的優等評價, 決定在午餐時間去試試. 或許是前一天吃過高水準的L'Ami Jean , Cafe Constant一樣提供法國料理, 但是不論是服務, 餐廳的舒適度(二樓的桌椅塞得太擠, 坐得很不舒服), 以及最重要的食物品質, 都比L'Ami Jean略遜一籌. 用午餐的當天生意很好, 座無虛席, 遊客與當地人參半, 我只能說在Trip Advisor得獎的也不是百分之百可信. 前菜點的燻鮭魚. IMG_9820.JPG

繼前晚到第一區的日本街吃Udon Jubey, 這晚又決定搭地鐵到Pyramides metro, 想再找找日本街上有甚麼美食. 再五分鐘就6點半, 發現這間拉麵店外已經站了4位穿著西裝的日本人等它開門. 我們決定湊熱鬧, 等它6點半開門, 也進去嚐嚐. 發現它比Udon Jubey還道地, 還好吃. 煎餃外皮煎地香脆, 很受大人小朋友歡迎. We arrived 'Little Tokyo' aka 'Little Japan' next to Pyramides metro on our second night in Paris. Found Kotteri Ramen Naritake just before its opening hour (6:30 pm). Four Japanese men in their suits were already lining up outside the ramen place. We decided to give it a go and it had surprised us by its tasty ramen and soup. Kotteri Ramen Naritake is better than some of the ramens I had tried in Japan. Gyoza - crispy on the outside with tasty fillings.

歐洲之旅第十天我們多多少少有了思念亞洲食物的心情, 當天晚上到了巴黎的日本街Rue Sainte-Anne的Udon Jubey 十兵烏龍麵, 清爽的湯頭讓多日吃'洋食'的我們溫暖了不少. QQ的烏龍麵不是冷凍包拿出來加熱的歐. 炸蝦烏龍麵 We kind of miss Asian food after our 10th day European trip. Visited Udon Jubey on Rue Sainte-Anne next to Pyramides metro station. Light soup and chewy udon had eased our homesickness a bit. Udon with Tempura Prawn - I liked its udon as it didn't taste like frozen food.

離開居住近兩年的London已經八年了, 念念不忘的美食就屬Brick Lane Beigel Bake. 每次回到London出差或是觀光, 一定會回到Brick Lane Bagels回味回味. 24小時, 全年無休的Brick Lane Beigel Bake主打salt beef bagel是我的最愛. 中間再加入一點點的English mustard, 想到就流口水. Brick Lane Beigel Bake got to be my London's top pick ever since I left London in 2005. I would still pay a visit whenever I return to London either for work or for leisure. Highly recommend its salt beef bagels. Moist and tender salt beef with a dash of English mustard - what else can I ask for at 24/7?

某日心血來潮到宜蘭頭城的蘭陽博物館參觀, 滿足了心靈的薰陶, 肚子怎能不照顧呢? 首先到了無招牌的麻醬麵蛤蠣湯小吃店, 生意很好, 座無虛席. 去之前在網路上看到很多關於它的文章, 或許是期望過高, 吃了以後很失望. 我只推薦麻醬麵, 香濃的芝麻香味與鹹味適中的醬汁好吃, 不過胃口不算大的我也要吃大碗($70)才會飽, 只能說這碗沒有配料卻要$70的麵店賺很多. 甜點的阿宗芋冰城在同一條路上, 一樣也是生意很好, 它傳統的口味相較之下好吃多了. 芋頭跟紅豆口味都不錯. There are limited choice in terms of food around Lanyang Museum in Yilan. We visited a couple of local eateries after our visit to the museum. I would not recommend the noodle store as it has been over-rated. However, the traditional ice-cream store along the same road is on the favour side. I heart the red bean and taro flavours.
